Crispy savory sticks

My favorite snack, it goes well with a beer.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 100 g sesame seeds
  • 1 dl oil
  • 125 g margarine
  • 2 dl beer
  • 600 g of soft flour
  • 100 g of roasted peeled sunflower
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

PREPARATION:

  1. Fry the sesame in a pan until it gets a golden brown color and smells good.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix melted margarine, beer, oil. Then add 4 tablespoons of flour, fried sesame, salt, baking powder and sunflower seeds. Combine everything nicely and add the remaining flour.
  3. Knead a smooth dough, roll it out to a thickness of 5 mm and cut into sticks.
  4. Wrap the sticks in a spiral and place them in a greased pan, bake at 220 degrees until golden brown.
