Savoury muffins with ham and cheese

Great choice for any occasion. It’s easy to make and it’s very tasty.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 20 g of fresh yeast
  • 10 g of sugar
  • 250 g of flour
  • 50 ml of olive oil
  • 200 g ham
  • 200 g grated cheese
  • 1 egg
  • pepper
  • salt

PREPARATION:

  1. Stir the yeast in 125 ml of lukewarm water, add sugar, mix and leave for 10 minutes. Pour flour, salt, whipped yeast and olive oil into a bowl, then knead a smooth dough. Leave to stand until the amount of dough has doubled.
  2. Cut the ham into cubes, mix with cheese and egg, add salt and pepper. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease the mold and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs.
  3. Fill the molds halfway with the dough, and then with a mixture of ham and cheese. Leave to rest for 20 minutes. Bake for 25 minutes in the oven.

    This is a great idea if you get some visitors and have absolutely nothing to put on the table. I will try a vegetarian version of this recipe.
